Myrtle Beach, SC: not our thing

While the camp ground was beautiful ……..

….. most of the town consisted of miles and miles of:

and souvenir shops complete with shark statue:

It was so touristy. Definitely not our favorite.
And then we drove to Wilmington, North Carolina. This is the view from our window in an rv park. Well, the azalea is beautiful. A guy camped next to us asked how we happened to be at the most red-necked campground in North Carolina. Good question.

Beautiful, historic Charleston

We spent the day in historic Charleston. It is such a beautiful city and full of so much history.
Beautiful churches:

A beautiful sunset from the campground laundry room. Makes the chore that I hate a little easier.

Magnolia Plantation & Gardens

After three days of rain, the sun was out and off we went to Magnolia Plantation & Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina. Honestly, I could show you at least 50 beautiful pictures but I’ll try to pick a few.

Off to historical Charleston tomorrow.

Should we build an ark?

Nothing much to report. Three days of almost constant rain/thunderstorms. Mostly hunkered down in the trailer. Thankful for a dry spot to hang out!

So bored, I’m watching these ducks outside the trailer. And, yes, water does roll off a duck’s back.
