Louisiana-Day 1

Here’s a few pics for my California friends who have never been to a Cracker Barrel restaurant. They offer free overnight parking for rv’ers so we stayed at one in Lafayette last night.
A real wood burning fireplace is nice but their food is definitely not diet friendly. Pure southern comfort. Before you get to the hostess you go through their store:

  1. Go find some music down in the French Quarter… Love New Orleans.. In fact we booked flights last night to go there in May.. Great food and music, but watch your belongings…

  2. I have a love/hate relationship with New Orleans. I hope you enjoy your time there! I feel like I’ve hitched a ride with you, so thanks for all the updates!

  3. Oysters, Oysters, Oysters! Go to Felix’s Chargrilled Oysters, go to Oceana’s great Everything. Do a swamp tour and a plantation tour. Have a great time in NOLA!
